This Renewal Application is used to request reissuing of an individual’s Certified Electrocardiogram Technician (CET) certificate that has been expired more than 2 years and up to 4 years. If you need assistance to find your current certificate information, please utilize the tool found on the https://www.nhcocert.com/verification/website.

 

Individuals should be prepared to submit supporting documentation showing 20 hours continuing education completed with an approved site.

 

Review the NHCO’s Continuing Education Guidelines for full requirements.

 

Renewal guidelines include:

  • Applications will be reviewed within seven (7) business days and an approval or denial notification will be sent to candidates via email.
  • If renewal requirements are not met, candidates will have thirty (30) days from the denial notification to address outstanding requirements.
  • Approved reissued certificates will be sent via email and the digital badge will always be available in the candidate’s online NHCO portal.
  • Renewal denials can be appealed within thirty (30) days of notification.

Candidates who submit all required supporting documentation will receive a digital, printable certificate via email. The CPT badge certificate will also be available in the candidate’s online NHCO portal.

The CET Renewal Application fee is non-refundable.
