This Renewal Application is used to request reissuing of an individual’s Certified Electrocardiogram Technician (CET) certificate that has not yet expired. If you need assistance to find your current certificate information, please utilize the tool found on the https://www.nhcocert.com/verification/website.
Individuals should be prepared to submit supporting documentation showing 10 hours of continuing education completed with an approved site.
Review the NHCO’s Continuing Education Guidelines for full requirements.
Renewal guidelines include:
- Applications will be reviewed within seven (7) business days and an approval or denial notification will be sent to candidates via email.
- If renewal requirements are not met, candidates will have thirty (30) days from the denial notification to address outstanding requirements.
- Approved reissued certificates will be sent via email and the digital badge will always be available in the candidate’s online NHCO portal.
- Renewal denials can be appealed within thirty (30) days of notification.
ⓘ Candidates who submit all required supporting documentation will receive a digital, printable certificate via email. The CET badge certificate will also be available in the candidate’s online NHCO portal.
The CET Renewal Application fee is non-refundable.
